Riley & Parker

Last week I had the pleasure of trying to keep an extra kiddo during the day. Riley and Parker are a month apart and they had the time of their lives tearing my house apart (literally). All in all it was a very good day and good memories were made. I would do it again in a hearbeat!

They tore all of the couch cushions off of my couch and were throwing everything that was underneath them onto the floor so I figured I might as well get them to clean it up since they think vacuum's are still cool. I wonder how long that will last?

Parker wanted to ride Riley's horse all day. So cute...

Hill Country Getaway

This past weekend we took a trip to Nana's timeshare at Canyon Lake. First off, the hill country is one of my favorite places to go in Texas. It amazes me at how different the scenery is there and how Trey and I automatically relax. There isn't good cell reception there so it's nice to be able to disconnect from the world around us. Besides the weather we had an amazing time with Trey's family. Of course Riley made the best of every situation and kept everyone entertained and was the center of attention.

Riley wanted to swim the entire time we were there but couldn't because of the rain. She wore her bathing suit most of the day and her and her new friend Casey entertained themselves by playing in the bathtub.

Riley finally got to swim that evening and thought it was so cool b/c she could swim in the dark!

It's about time!

Okay, so it's been over a year since I posted last and I truly apologize. I am bound and determined to keep up now. Life in the Lander's house is full speed ahead as usual and we are just enjoying life. Riley is growing WAY to fast for us but we are loving every minute of it. It's football season which means we don't slow down a bit. I was a little worried that Riley would be too much of a handful this year but to my surprise she loves Katy Tiger football and looks forward to it every week.
