All done!

When I picked Ri up from daycare today she was eating a snack at the table. Miss Angel (her favorite teacher) cleaned her up and started to pull her out of the seat. Riley slapped her hands together (like she was wiping off cookie crumbs) and said "all done." I was shocked! At first I was a little disappointed because she hadn't said it around us yet. But then I was thanking God for how fast she is learning at Tiger Land. Every day she comes home with something new. We are blessed to have such an amazing little girl in our lives.

Tonight when I gave her a bath I got her to repeat a few of her favorites words right now.

Bath Time

Riley has come to LOVE bath time and I can hardly get her out when it's time to. She is so much fun and loves to play with each and every toy before I get her out. She loves be in the water but she is not much of a fan of being bathed and having her hair washed. I got her to hold still for a few minutes tonight to get a few really cute pictures.

She is sharing her cooking with daddy, so sweet...or at least we thought...as soon as Trey grabbed for it, she stuck it in her mouth! She is truly a Landers child.

Daddy is helping with bathtime...believe it or not this happens a lot. He is such a hands-on daddy and to see them interact is amazing! (Note: I type this as my child clings to my leg, hungry for a bottle, while daddy is watching American Idol-don't you just love husbands!)

The famous shampooed hair that every kid needs to have!
All clean!

I think she would live in the hooded towel if I let her. The minute you put her down after a bath, she takes off (naked as a jay bird), and good luck catching her-she is getting fast!
She will try and comb her hair for a minute but almost always the comb ends up in her mouth (like everything else)!

Sleep

I never understood when women would say, "I love them so much-when they are asleep!" I always thought that was odd. NOW it all makes sense. I love my daughter more than life itself but now that she can cling to my leg, and follow me around, and say ma-ma, and well, control my life...I love her so much-WHEN SHE'S SLEEPING!

Preaching

Riley's newest thing is to climb up on the fireplace and "preach" to whoever she feels like should listen. Although we have a hard time getting up (and don't even think about getting down by ourself, she just screams until mom or dad comes and gets her), she thinks it the coolest place in the world! And we think she is the cutest baby ever!
Hmm...should dad be worried?

She is definately 100% female-she is already talking with her hands!

She cracks herself up! I would pay good money to know what she is thinking (or maybe I wouldn't?).

We are beginning to wonder who she is talking to. I'm thinking about lining up all her stuffed animals to give her an audience.
